Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (OMPT) are physical therapists who have completed a minimum of 500 hours of education to meet IFOMPT standards and have passed the certification examination. OMPTs are required to have the ability to critically evaluate their own clinical practice based on evidence, advanced clinical reasoning skills, and the ability to promote research, all of which are essential to the practice of evidence-based physical therapy.
